A Strategic Partnership

We conclude our series today on Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation’s vision of an educational science center in North Sheridan. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation and Steady Stream Hydrology have formed a strategic partnership with the goal of building an approximate 4,000 square foot educational science center on a little over 2 acres of property that is owned by SEEDA and the City of Sheridan . Steady Stream Hydrology Owner Tina Krueger says that the property, located just off Decker Road along Goose Creek in north Sheridan, is an ideal location for what they’re trying to accomplish.

Krueger says that they envision the kids helping with some of the stream restoration work.

As far as a timeline for the project?

Another strategic partner in the endeavor is Thane Magelky, Owner of QC10 Architects in Sheridan. Joey Puettman, Executive Director of Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation, said that Magelky has been instrumental in developing a conceptual design of the proposed science center.
