Statewide PAWS Results Highlight Wyoming Student Progress

The results for the statewide Proficiency Assessments for Wyoming Students (PAWS) exams were released yesterday.Every grade, except fourth, also recorded improved reading scores. And in science, every grade, except fourth, had higher scores. Superintendent of public instruction, Cindy Hill, was happy with the reports.

To view the complete public report released by the state Department of Education, click here. Individualized student scores will be released to school districts next week, and a year-to-year analysis and interpretation of the test results is expected Aug. 7.
