State’s Presidential Electors to Cast Votes Dec. 17

Wyoming Secretary of State, Max Maxfield, announced Tuesday that the state’s presidential electors will meet in the State Capitol on December 17 to cast their votes for U.S. President and Vice-President.

State Election Director, Peggy Nighswonger, said in a media release that the electors were chosen based on the the statewide victor in the presidential and vice presidential election this November.

Nighswonger said the votes are already decided.

The team of electors includes Ron Micheli of Fort Bridger, Susan Thomas of Casper and Margaret Parry of Rock Springs. They will cast their ballots in Governor Matt Mead's Office.
