State Nonprofits Benefit From Wyoming Community Foundation

The Wyoming Community Foundation, at its most recent meeting, reported that the Foundation has distributed over $3 million to various organizations throughout the state.

In Sheridan and Johnson Counties, the Wyoming Community Foundation’s local board granted $30,600 to eight nonprofits in the area. The local nonprofits that received funding are: The B.F. and Rose H. Perkins Foundation – Healthy Habits, Healthy Kids; Children, Horses and Adults in Partnership for Therapeutic Riding, or CHAPS; Compass Center for Families; Hoofprints of the Past Museum ; Joey’s Fly Fishing, Inc.; Love in Stitches Raising Readers in Wyoming, and the Sheridan County Conservation District .

In 2017, the Foundation granted $6.3 million to charitable organizations in Wyoming. Their next grant application deadline is June 15. Nonprofits are encouraged to apply. More information can be found by following the link provided below.
