State Legislator Discusses Clean Coal Initiatives

State Legislator John Patton said he stands behind the legislature's support of clean coal technology, citing it's necessary to stay competitive in an international market.

In fact, Wyoming taxpayers have a role in subsidizing clean coal projects. Patton appeared on Public Pulse on Newstalk 930 with Host Kim Love Tuesday and said pioneering new energy technology can be lucrative for the state.

Patton also noted clean coal technology development is slow because each new advancement often yields new issues as well.
