State Auditor Rita Meyer Explains Her Decision To Run For Wyoming Governor

Wyoming State Auditor Rita Meyer announced recently that she will be running for Governor on the Republican ticket. Meyer stopped by the Sheridan Media studio's Monday to talk about some of the factors that lead to her candidacy.

Meyer was elected state auditor in 2006 and is a 23 year Veteran of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Former U.S. Attorney for Wyoming, Matt Mead officially announced his candidacy last Friday and two others are expected to officially announce soon, as State House Speaker Colin Simpson and former State Representative Ron Micheli have expressed their intentions to run for the Republican nomination.
