The WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan will be the site this evening for “Pitch Night” of the Start-Up Challenge entrepreneur competition, hosted by the Wyoming Technology Business Center in Sheridan.

The five finalists who were chosen out of the 40 submittals, will present their business ideas before a panel of judges. Finalist Chad Reckard is the creator of ThermMaker, a large automated fluid heater for use in oil and gas development.

Reckard explains exactly how ThermMaker works.

Pitch Night is free and open to the community and will take place tonight at 5:30 pm at the WYO Theater. The top three entrepreneurs will each receive a $5,000 award, pro bono legal counsel from Davis & Cannon, and the opportunity to apply for additional working capital from a $50,000 seed fund.
