Spring Clean-up of City Streets, Parks Has Begun

Spring clean-up of city street and parks has begun in Sheridan. Leslie Stratmoen has the update.

Sheridan city workers are already cleaning up the streets and gearing up for more projects. Public Works Director Nic Bateson filled us in during a recent Public Pulse show, saying the community can help by reporting damaged roads.

They’re also cleaning up the parks, he says, and have installed fencing and re-enforced the banks along the creek in Kendrick Park.

Fortunately, he says, they are not expecting any major flooding this year because the snowpack on the Big Horn Mountains is down, compared to past years. As a result, he says, they’re anticipating a lower stream flow season this spring.
