A 19-year-old Sheridan man was sentenced Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court for a number of charges relating to the distribution of drugs in the Sheridan area.

Last July, Brody Castellow received a deferred sentence in District Court in Sheridan for the charge of Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Late last year, Castellow was charged with three felonies for distributing large quantities of LSD and marijuana wax in and around the Sheridan area.

Pursuant to terms of a plea agreement with the State, District Court Judge John Fenn revoked Castellow’s probation and entered the guilty plea into record for the Delivery charge that was originally deferred last July.

Judge Fenn then sentenced Castellow to 2 to 5 years for that charge, suspended in lieu of 2 years of supervised probation, and 3 to 6 years on each of the three drug delivery charges from last November, suspended in lieu of a 10-month split sentence and three years of supervised probation. The sentences for the three most recent charges will run concurrent to one another, but consecutive to the guilty plea that was entered due to the probation revocation. Judge Fenn also ordered Castellow to pay $760 in various fines and court fees.
