SPAC Receives Donation for Permanent Sculpture

The Sheridan Public Arts Committee has announced that they've received the needed funds in the form of a donation to complete the purchase of the Huckleberry Daze sculpture by Jerry McCellar. The sculpture was on loan and had been sitting on the corner of Main Street and Coffeen Avenue in front of the Downtown Sheridan Association building. SPAC Program Coordinator Beth Holsinger.

Fremont Toyota General Manager Matt Childers stated in a media release from SPAC, that the $5,000 donation was their way of thanking the community for all their support over the years.

There will be a special unveiling ceremony of the City's newest permanent public art Thursday, May 16 at 5:30 pm in front of the DSA office.
