Soldier Ridge Trail Clean-Up

A good number of volunteers showed up Saturday morning to help spruce up the Soldier Ridge Trail, just west of Sheridan.

Part of the Sheridan Community Land Trust’s work of preserving open spaces, Soldier Ridge is a four mile long, non-motorized trail and Claire Hobbs, Communication and Program Development for the Land Trust says maintaining a trail is important.

Wyoming House Representative for District 29, Mark Kinner, was there with shovel in hand and has been involved with the Soldier Ridge Trail development from the very beginning and says it’s great to see how much the trail is used.

The trail can be found right at the end of Fifth Street as it turns into gravel.
