Snow Is Causing All Sorts Of Travel Trouble In Southeast Wyoming

CHEYENNE, (AP) - Light snow is causing slippery travel conditions in southeast Wyoming, especially in the Laramie area. Eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne were closed Friday afternoon for a short period but remained slick and snow covered when they reopened. Other highways in the Laramie area were also slick and snow covered.

Meantime, the National Weather Service warned of more wintry weather for southeast Wyoming tonight and early Sunday. The agency has issued a winter storm watch with up to 14 inches of new snow for the Snowy and Laramie ranges and up to 7 inches in the Laramie Valley.
