Smoke Filled Skies

Smoke Filled Skies

Monday's wind that we experienced in northeast Wyoming is just part of the cause of the smoke filled skies over the region. Meteorologist Albert Richmond with the National Weather Service in Billings says that the smoke is coming from our neighbors to the north and a weather system is what's causing it to hang around.

Richmond said that another ridge of high pressure that's building will shift the upper flow to the west, which should help keep the smoke north of the area and allow it to clear up over the next few days.
