SMH Urgent Care Project Receives Generous Gift

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced that they've received a $105,000 gift from the Herbert G. and Dorothy Zullig Foundation. The gift will pay for the full design and construction costs for the new Sheridan Memorial Hospital Urgent Care Clinic that is scheduled to open next month.

The total cost for the project is $148,000. The Zullig gift will cover the design and remodel of current space for the new clinic. The Hospital will be responsible for the remaining budgeted $43,000 for equipment and software.

The new Urgent Care Clinic will be located within the hospital in close proximity to the current Emergency Department. A media release from the Hospital Foundation states that an August opening is anticipated and will be announced to the public once the project is complete.
