SMH Seeks Hospice Volunteers

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is looking for volunteers to provide relief support for the Hospice of the Big Horns.

A training and screening session will start April 4 to provide familiarization with the ins and outs of end of life care. Cecile Pattison, Community Relations Coordinator with the hospital, says volunteers are critical to the program to provide a break for regular caregivers.

Those who complete the training program volunteer when they can in one to three-hour increments. The training program will run three weeks in a row from p.m.

For more information, or to sign up for the program, contact Cindy Baker at 672-1083.
