Six District 2 Schools Receive National Model PLC Honors

The goal of Sheridan County School District 2 is to have every school in the district named a national model PLC school – and Mitch Craft said the district is getting close.

Craft, who's one of the school district's assistant superintendents, announced at the District 2 board meeting Monday night that Highland Park Elementary has now been named a national model PLC school.

In an interview with Sheridan Media after Monday's school board meeting, Craft said counting Meadowlark Elementary, there are now six schools in District 2 that have been named national model PLC schools.

Sagebrush was recognized for the honor at last month's board meeting. In addition, Craft said, Woodland Park Elementary, Sheridan High School and Sheridan Junior High School have also been recognized as national model PLC schools.

In addition, School District 2 has been recognized as a national model PLC school district.
