Job Shadow Day

Students from schools across the county visited area businesses Friday, getting a first-hand look at possible post-high school careers as part of Job Shadow Day.

Juniors and seniors visited various places including Sheridan Memorial Hospital, Jimmy Johns, the Police Department and even right here at Sheridan Media.

Sheridan High School junior Megan Eisenhauer visited the radio station. She got to co-host the Z94 morning show with Steve Sisson. She even learned a little about news and how to put together a radio news story - albeit an ethically-questionable one about herself. She shares what she learned during the day.

She has always been interested in radio and television and the and the entire broadcast industry, but did that change after a day at Sheridan Media?

Two students from Arvada-Clearmont High School worked with Sheridan Fire Rescue on Friday for Job Shadow Day. Check out the picture and details from that at the top of the homepage.
