Sheridan Woman Sentenced for Meth Distribution

In August of last year, 30-year-old Brandi Watson of Sheridan was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Methamphetamine.

Watson was recently sentenced in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan as part of a plea agreement reached with the State. District Court Judge John Feen accepted the terms of the plea deal, and sentenced Watson to 3 to 5 years in prison, suspended, in lieu of 3-years of supervised probation. For pleading guilty to the delivery charge, the prosecution dismissed the possession charge as part of the plea agreement. Judge Fenn also ordered Watson to pay $285 in various court costs along with $500 in attorney fees.
