Sheridan Woman Arraigned on Drug Charges

An arraignment hearing was held Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for 33-year-old Bonnie Brown, who is charged with one count of Felony Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, and one count of Felony Deliver a Controlled Substance- Marijuana.

Brown pleaded “not guilty” to both charges and District Court Judge John Fenn set a #5 stack trial for January 27. A pretrial conference will be held on December 19 at 11 am. Bond was continued under the same terms and conditions as previously set in Circuit Court.

According to court documents, between April and May of this year, Brown was allegedly involved in the distribution of methamphetamine and marijuana in the Sheridan area. Along with Brown, a number of other individuals were arrested as part of an investigation by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and local law enforcement. If convicted on both counts, Brown faces up to 35 years in prison and a fine of up to $30,000.
