Sheridan Woman Arraigned in District Court

Marie McLean, 31, of Sheridan, pleaded “Not Guilty” to the charge of Felony Driving While Under the Influence in Fourth Judicial District Court Thursday.

McLean also pleaded “Not Guilty” to an alternate count of Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and a Controlled Substance. The charge is a felony because McLean has previously been convicted three times for Driving While Under the Influence, and four or more convictions in a 10-year-period in Wyoming is considered a felony. District Court Judge John Fenn set a trial date of January 7, and scheduled a Pre-trial Conference for November 29 at 9 am.

If convicted, McLean faces up to 7 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000, or any combination of both.
