Sheridan Vets Catch a Break Under Obamacare

Veterans who live in Sheridan are going to catch a break when the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act kicks in. Healthcare Reform Specialist, Brad Johnson, says veterans who qualify to be seen at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center don't have to buy insurance on the private market if its not provided by their employers. That's because Sheridan is lucky enough to have a local VA.

Johnson said vets who live farther away from a VA medical center often times end up seeking their care elsewhere.

Johnson will be providing a three and a half hour seminar on the ins and outs of Obamacare May 31.
