Sheridan VA Joins Effort To End Homelessness

The Sheridan Veterans Affairs Hospital has joined national VA efforts with a goal of ending veteran homelessness within the next five years.

Will Banks, a social worker at the Sheridan VA Medical, works extensively with homelessness prevention, says annual surveys suggest more than two dozen veterans are homeless at any time.

The initiative addresses six areas of community and individual functioning to address homelessness among veterans. Stay tuned to Sheridan Media News to learn more about this initiative.
