President Donald Trump proclaimed again this year an extended month-long salute to military families and veterans, according to a recent news release from the Office of Veterans Affairs.

In Sheridan, retailers and organizations continue to celebrate MONDAY with displays, gifts, services, food, and special events.

Veterans and service members are encouraged to ask any Sheridan County retailer about specific gifts, services, discounts, and other honors, as many may not be listed below:

MONDAY:
10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
ARBY'S RESTAURANT will serve a free sandwich of choice to any veteran, walk-in or drive-through.
HORSE PALACE in the Plaza Mall invites veterans in for a free play. Assistant Manager Halley Adler says:
11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
PONY BAR AND GRILL will serve veterans a free meal says Owner Tye Bach:
11 a.m.
SHERIDAN COLLEGE Annual Veterans Day Ceremony & Reception. If weather is unfavorable, the tribute will be at Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts.

Year-round benefits for veterans include deeply discounted vehicle registration or property tax assessment, numerous dining and automotive service discounts, and more.
