Sheridan Police Providing Additional Free Rides For Rodeo Events

With Sheridan WYO Rodeo Week expanding more and more each year, the Sheridan Police Department has decided to provide additional free rides home on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from the downtown area. Police Chief Rich Adriaens explains.

Chief Adriaens clarified that these free rides home are different from other safe ride programs that will be offered by various other organizations.

Lt. Tom Ringley added that they will have enhanced DUI patrols throughout the week thanks to a collaborative endeavor between the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sheridan Police Department.
