Sheridan P.D. Monitoring Crashes Downtown

Posted in

The Main Street configuration test in downtown Sheridan began on August 11 and was supposed to wrap-up this past weekend, however, recent action by the Sheridan City Council extended the test by three weeks.

The extension was made so that City staff and WYDOT could collect more data on the three-lane configuration. During a recent appearance on our news talk show Public Pulse, Sheridan Police Lieutenant Travis Koltiska said that they have been closely monitoring the crashes in the downtown area.

Lieutenant Koltiska said that the new lane configuration has helped with congestion.
