Here's a look at the past week's top news stories from Sheridan Media News:

A vehicle crashed into the Starbucks coffee shop at the corner of Brundage Lane and Coffeen avenue early Thursday morning, leaving a gaping hole in the building. The driver was treated at Sheridan Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, and though customers were in the building, no one else was hurt in the incident. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.

The parking area around Mavrakis Pond is slated to be paved. City Engineer Lane Thompson explains.

The project will be done using one-cent funds.
The community of Story is getting an assessment done. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy was at their town hall meeting and had this report.
