Sheridan Media Week in Review

Sheridan Media Week in Review

It's time to once again take a look back at some of the stories that made news this past week with our Sheridan Media week in review. The Sheridan City Council Monday night removed from the table and ultimately approved the Holly Ponds planned unit development #9. City Engineer Lane Thompson.

Tuesday, Sheridan County Commissioners made their ruling on a petition from Merlin and Lori Zowada to establish a private road to their business off of Fort Road. Commissioner Steve Maier.

Business Partners, Ambre Energy and Cloud Peak Energy, have come to an agreement to settle litigation over a dispute regarding Decker Coal Mine. In a media release, the companies announced Ambre Energy will buy out Cloud Peak's interests in the Decker mine and related assets, thus assuming 100 percent ownership. The release says the Decker Mine will be sold for $57 million if paid during the first quarter of 2013, or $64 million if paid thereafter.
