The Cheyenne Police Department issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old girl that was abducted by her non-custodial mother. Police retracted the alert early Tuesday Police after Angeleana Tyler was found with her abductor, 34-year-old Misty Lea Stricker-Campos in Greeley, Colorado.

The Sheridan County Commissioners Tuesday awarded the bid for upgrades to the Sheridan County Courthouse to Fletcher Construction in the amount of 65,660. The project will consist of refinishing the woodwork in the old courthouse along with repairing cracks in the tile floor.

The Sheridan Police Department Wednesday issued a media release that confirmed that they'd arrested a 27-year-old Texas woman for prostitution in Sheridan. Sheridan Police Detective Jerry Rasmussen.

The arrest was the second arrest for prostitution in Sheridan in November, as Sheridan Police arrested 29-year-old Sarah Stem from Bozeman, MT on November 2nd.

The annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning was well attended once again. The event benefits the Sheridan Community Shelter. Ethan Boone with Volunteers of America.

And of course, Thanksgiving week culminated with the ever popular 17th annual Christmas Stroll in Downtown Sheridan.
