Sheridan and Johnson Countys' commissioners have been hard at work trying to nail down a deal regarding Lake DeSmet. It looks like Johnson County might buy Sheridan County's interests in the lake and make a deal with the Game and Fish on their own. Johnson County commission chair, Smokey Wildeman, says it's still in the air, though. Sheridan County's commission chair, Mike Nickell, Agrees. The Sheridan Commissioners will meet again Tuesday to continue negotiating the deal.
