A Disposition Hearing for probation revocation was held in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan Thursday for a Sheridan man. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

In March of 2016, 37-year-old Joshua Hando of Sheridan was arrested and charged with three counts of felony drug possession. In February of 2017, Hando was sentenced to 3 to 5 years in prison, suspended in lieu of a 147-day split sentence and three years of supervised probation. In February of this year, Hando pleaded “guilty” in Sheridan County Circuit Court to the charge of Domestic Battery, and was sentenced to 90 days in the Sheridan County Detention Center.

The conviction violated the terms of Hando’s probation, and a hearing was held in District Court Thursday regarding the probation revocation. District Court Judge John Fenn revoked Hando’s probation and sentenced him to serve 3 to 5 years in prison with 175 days credit for time served.
