Sheridan Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

Sheridan Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A shooting in Sheridan Saturday night put one man in jail for Attempted Murder and another in a hospital in Billings. Lieutenant Chris Dahmke with the Sheridan Police explains what took place.

Eddie Delk was arrested and initially charged with attempted murder, as the victim, 40-year-old Ken Rosalez of Sheridan, is alive. Lt. Dahmke comments.

Lt. Dahmke said the wound was most likely a through-and-through, entering an area just below and to the left of the neck area of Rosalez' upper torso.

Eddie Delk is initially being charged with Attempted Murder, but Lt. Dahmke says the County Attorney's office may amend the charge after they have an opportunity to review the entire report.

Delk is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court this afternoon at 2.
