Sheridan Local Food Expo Set For Early October

The Sheridan Local Food Expo will take place October 5 through the 8 and will provide a number of activities that provide the attendees with the hands-on education and experience necessary to support local food production, personal health and economic development. One of the Organizers of the event, Bonnie Gregory talks about one of the goals of the expo.

Gregory says the expo will begin Wednesday night October 5th at the Sheridan Fulmer Library.

Gregory said Friday, October 7th will be the Farm to Plate Gala Dinner at the Barn in Big Horn.

The expo will wrap-up on Saturday, October 8 with the Farmers’ Market Fall Festival at Sheridan College.

Gregory said the Farmers’ Market Fall Festival will culminate with a discussion panel on local food in Sheridan.
