Sheridan Housing Action Committee and First Interstate Bank Receive Grant

The Sheridan Housing Action Committee and First Interstate Bank were recently awarded $450,000 in Affordable Housing Program funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. SHAC Executive Director Karin Spann says the funding will help aid a number of home buyers in the community.

First Interstate Bank Sugarland Branch President Mark Kinner on being awarded the funding.

Spann commended Kinner and former SHAC Director Marie Lowe on putting in the leg work to secure the grant. Of the 32 applications that were submitted to Seattle Bank, only 10 were approved, and this most recent grant was the only one awarded by Seattle Bank in Wyoming for far this year.
