On Saturday afternoon, the Sheridan Fire and Rescue hosted their annual Open House in honor of National Fire Prevention Week. President Calvin Coolidge proclaimed the first National Fire Prevention Week in 1925. The main goal of this nationally recognized week is to educate the importance of fire prevention and safety. Chad Brutlag, Captain of Sheridan Fire and Rescue, shares details about what the Open House is all about.
