The Sheridan County Museum and Historical Society have been renovating their space and changing the exhibits for their season opening later this month. One of the notable changes will be the absence of the Rosebud Diorama created by local resident Tom Warnke. While guests recently on our news talk show Public Pulse, Museum Executive Director Mikayla Larrow and Board Vice President Michael Wallop shared an exchange with a caller about what happened to the diorama.

Later in the week on Friday’s Open Line version of Public Pulse, Warnke himself called in with a different story of the events that transpired leading up to the diorama’s end. During his call, Warnke read a letter that he said was written by the contractor that was working with the piece.
