Sheridan County Fire Restrictions in Effect Starting Tuesday

On the recommendation of Sheridan County Fire Warden Bill Biastoch and the six county fire districts, the Board of County Commissioners on Monday officially moved to place fire restrictions in effect starting at 12:01 a.m on Tuesday.

The commissioners voted unanimously to place the restrictions in effect at Monday's staff meeting. County commissioner, Steve Maier, explains.

Before the resolution was approved last week, Biastoch said the fire restrictions in Sheridan County will likely be in effect until sometime late in the fall.
