Sheridan County Fire Ban to Be Lifted Next Monday

In a media release issued by Sheridan County, it states that upon recommendation of the Sheridan County Fire Warden and the Fire Chiefs of the Rural Fire Protection Districts, the Sheridan County Commissioners will lift the fire ban effective Monday, October 24th at 6 am.

The County would like to remind people to continue to be aware that burning should not be done on Red-Flag Warning days and that residents should make their district fire chief aware of when they are burning to prevent unnecessary call outs of the volunteer fire departments.
