Sheridan County Approves Two Preliminary Plats

Sheridan County Approves Two Preliminary Plats

Two preliminary plat applications were approved by the Sheridan County Commission during their last meeting.

The first is for the proposed Twin Eagle at Powder Horn Ranch for a seven-lot development.

The plat for the Planned Unit Development (PUD) includes two variances, one for a width on the street right-of-way of 25 feet; and another for the completed street width to allow for curb and gutter within the 25-foot easement.

The second application is for the Wololga Estates Subdivision, which proposes six single-family lots and two residential/commercial/future right-of-way out lots in a 36-acre property located west of Sheridan.

Sheridan County Planner Mark Reid explained that since the property is adjacent to the city limits, the City of Sheridan will require them to file for a variance to their regulations.

The Sheridan County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval on both of the applications, which the county commission did approve.
