Sheridan County to Amend Liquor Rules and Regulations

Sheridan County's Commissioners are giving public notice that they intend to amend the rules and regulations governing licensing of liquor sales within the county.
They approved a Notice of Intent to do so at their Tuesday meeting.

In a release, the commission explained that the purpose of the proposed amendment is to add a Twenty-four hour Malt Beverage Permit for Microbrewery with a fee of $30; and a Twenty-four hour Manufacturer’s Off-Premise Permit with a fee of $30.

Copies of the proposed amendment are available, and written comments can be submitted as well.
A public hearing on the matter will be held in August.

The county commissioners also gives public notice of its intent to make available one Retail Liquor License.

The Retail Liquor License is for outside of the five-mile buffer of the City of Sheridan.
A Retail Liquor License allows sale of alcoholic liquor and malt beverages for consumption on premise, off premise, or both.
The fee for a Retail Liquor License is $1,500 a year.

The County Commissioner’s Office is available to answer questions and provide the current Retail Liquor License application.

Copies of the proposed amendment to the rules and regulations governing licensing of liquor sales within the county are available from the Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners in Suite 201, of the Courthouse Addition, and can also be viewed on the county website.

Written comments on the proposed amendment may be submitted by the public to the Board of County Commissioners, 224 S. Main Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, or emailed to bocc@sheridancounty.com on or before Friday, August 16, 2019.

A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed amendment will be held on August 20, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The Board will consider adoption of the proposed amendment at its regular meeting on August 20, 2019, commencing at 9:00 a.m.
