Sheridan County Adopts Balanced Budget

Posted in

Sheridan County Commissioners Tuesday adopted a general fund budget of $14.7 million, which is down 3.6 percent from the previous fiscal year. County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller said that no cuts to personnel had to be made this year due to reduced spending throughout all of the departments. She said they did not use cash carryover to balance the budget.

Commissioner Steve Maier said the County’s budget has reduced by 32 percent since 2009, and that they are basically working with the same level of funds as they did in 2006.
