Sheridan College volleyball coach Jennifer Stadler has accepted a position as head coach for the NCAA Division II Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.

Rich “Bubba” Hall, who's Sheridan College athletic director, said Sheridan will immediately launch a national search to fill the coaching position.

He said this is a tremendous opportunity for Coach Stadler who, for eight years, has been a stable force in the Sheridan College athletic department and volleyball program.

During her tenure at Sheridan College, Stadler guided the Generals to an overall record of 130-142. Thirty-seven of her players have graduated from Sheridan College, and 21 have transferred to four-year schools on scholarship. The volleyball team has finished in fourth and second places respectively in the last two years of Region IX North competition.

The Generals also received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Academic Team Award for finishing the 2017-18 year with a cumulative team grade point average of 3.3.

Hall said the Generals hope to have a head coach in place by mid-summer for the 2019-20 season.
