SC Recognizes Outstanding Service-Learning Project and Community Partner

The Sheridan College award for Outstanding Service-Learning Project was recently presented to Josh Michelena, Construction Technology Instructor, and his students for their work on constructing homes for Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns. Habitat Executive Director Matt Davis.

The College also recognized Habitat for Humanity as a Outstanding Community Partner.

Sheridan College Director of Service-Learning Tracy Dearinger said that they are proud of what the students do for Service-Learning projects in the community, and that this project is definitely one that deserves recognition.
