Sheridan College to Celebrate First Ever Whitney Days

Next week will be busy at Sheridan College as students, staff and coaches will be participating in a number of events organized around the celebration of Edward A. Whitney, a man who made it his life’s goal to support higher education in Sheridan.

Sheridan College Alumni and Communication Coordinator Bobbi Mitzel talks about the first ever “Whitney Days.”

Mitzel said that one of the events that is open to the public is an open house, Wednesday, September 20 from 4 to 8 pm at the Whitney Mall on the Sheridan College campus.

Events open to the public are listed below:

Wednesday, Sept. 20 - Open House- 4 to 8:00 p.m., Whitney Mall

Thursday, Sept. 21 - Third Thursday- 4 - 9:00 p.m., Main St., Sheridan

Friday, Sept. 22 - SC General’s Volleyball vs. LCCC 7:00 p.m., Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome

Friday, Sept. 22 - Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo 7:00 p.m., Sheridan County Fairgrounds

Saturday, Sept. 23 - SC General’s Volleyball vs. EWCC 3:00 p.m. Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome

Saturday, Sept. 23 - Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo 7:00 p.m., Sheridan County Fairgrounds

Sunday, Sept. 24 - Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo 10:00 a.m., Sheridan County Fairgrounds
