Sheridan College Announces First Annual Jazz In the Bighorns

This summer, the Sheridan College music department will host their first annual summer jazz workshop, Jazz In the Bighorns, on July 30 through August 4 at the college’s campus in the Bighorn Mountains. Participants will take part in combo and big band rehearsals, private lessons, theory classes, jazz pedagogy, literature sessions, and outdoor activities.

Workshop faculty will include Mike Tomaro, Bob Krueger, Erik Olson, Parker Brown, Ed Breazeale, and Eric Richards.

This event is designed for high school students and educators and is limited to 20 attendees. The estimated all-inclusive cost for lodging, meals, and tuition is $550.00. For more information, contact Director of Band and Jazz Studies Dr. Eric Richards at erichards@sheridan.edu.
