Sheridan City Council to Hold 5 Public Hearings at Tonight's Meeting

The Sheridan City Council will hear second readings on entryway corridor modifications that were discussed at their last meeting which are in the process to reduce the number of ordinances for developers in the city.

Also at tonight's meeting, council will hold five public hearings which include grant applications, rezoning areas in the city and consideration of a liquor license for Sheridan College and their Culinary Institute. Sheridan City Council President John Bigelow.

The council will also receive an update from Treasurer Jennifer Reed on sales tax receipts, which Bigelow says they are watching closely as it is one of the city's primary sources of revenue.

Bigelow says Fachon Wilson is retiring and will be recognized at the meeting for her contributions to Sheridan through the Public Arts Committee
