Shell Falls Closed, Burgess Junction Open

The Shell Falls Interpretive Site in the Bighorn National Forest will be closed this year while the site's interpretive trail is reconstructed.

Visitor services, including information, education and interpretation, will be provided at the Burgess Junction Visitor Center. Burgess Junction is scheduled to open May 27 for the Memorial Day weekend.

The Burgess Junction Visitor Center is about 30 miles west of Sheridan at the junction of U.S. Highway 14 and U.S. Highway 14A. The center will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. seven days a week through the labor Day weekend.
