Several Bands on Bill for Buffalo Music Festival

Along with several band performances, the weekend’s Big Horn Mountain Festival in Buffalo features two international known headliners on Friday and Saturday nights -- singer/songwriters John Anderson and Marty Stuart.

Anderson plays at 9 on Friday night and Stuart, with his Fabulous Superlatives, on Saturday night, at 9:30. Opening for Stuart will be local favorite, The Jalan Crossland Band, taking the stage at 8:15.

Bands will begin playing Friday afternoon on the main stage and continue through Sunday and include The Fireants, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Front Country, Baskery, Prairie Wildfire, Maracuja, Maxima's Overdirve, The Littlest Birds and Crary, Evans and Spurgin. The contests on fiddle, guitar, banjo and mandolin will be held on Saturday morning and run from 9:30 to noon. There will be jam sessions on both Friday and Saturday nights, a community dance on Friday night and a couple of open mic sets on Sunday.

Tickets are $95 for a three-day pass, $45 Friday, $60 Saturday and $30 Sunday, available in advance at the Chamber Office in Buffalo or WYO Theater in Sheridan, or online through Thursday.
