Senior Center Starts New Year's Celebration Early

Sheridan's Senior Center will have a New Year's Eve at Noon a day early this year.

Senior Center Fun Director Jane Perkins said the event will be on Friday, Dec. 30, with music starting at 11 a.m.

She said there'll be food and socialization along with music by the Canary Joe Band, which is donating its time for the event. Lunch will be served from 11:30 until 12:45.

Perkins said there will be a toast at noon, and lunch will be followed by bingo. Cost of the meal will be the regular donation of $5 for those 60 and over who are registered at the Senior Center, and $8 for all others. Perkins said the Senior Center will be open from 9 till 1 on Saturday and Sunday, with lunch served on both days.
