U.S. Senator John Barrasso addressed his colleagues on the Senate floor Wednesday by offering some harsh criticism to the President's budget and the effects it will have on the health care law. Barrasso stated that the administration and congressional democrats knowingly ignored the cost of the President's major new entitlement program in order to score a political victory.

Senator Barrasso said that President Obama promised the American people repeatedly that his health care reform would add a dime to the deficit, yet two years later, we know that it actual burdens Americans with more debt. The Senator went on to add that in fact, the President's new budget proposal asks for almost a billion dollars to fund his health care “exchange”.
