U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming easily defeated Democrat Gary Trauner in his bid for reelection in Tuesday’s General Election.

Barrasso, in an interview with Sheridan Media, said that one of the issues that he will continue to work on is updating the Endangered Species Act.

Barrasso discussed legislation that is being worked on that would update the act.

Barrasso said another item that needs immediate attention has to do with exporting coal from Wyoming.

We’ll hear more from Senator Barrasso this week, including his take on the Water Infrastructure Bill that was recently signed into law by President Trump.
